Hi James. Uh....CL? They rank #9 in the US for traffic count. They've put countless newspapers out of business. You can pinpoint your ads and template them to sync.

Hi James:

Coming from Montana, you may find that the general national websites don't reach specific audiences. There are sites for buyers of luxury homes, of course, but some properties in less populated states are suited to people who want outdoor experiences like fly fishing, hunting, or hiking. Others may want horse properties or homes in natural settings where they can retreat and relax. If this is the case, you might want to look at specialty publications that don't specifically deal with real estate, but which reach these kinds of buyers.

I agree with Catherine, most buyers looking for real estate in another state will search online on Realtor.com, Trulia, Zillow, and various other real estate websites. Exposure through social networking adds to that. Having a lot of good quality photos and information will facilitate results (it’s not just the quantity of the website exposure, but the quality and quantity of information about the home on those Websites that matters). For high end properties, luxury real estate magazines like UNIQUE HOMES and Newspapers like the “Wall Street Journal” Real Estate Section also can do well for bringing buyers.

To advertise listings, the most successful strategy from our experience is online advertising. From realtor.com and other myriads of RE sites to Syndication, Blogging, Single property websites and SEO all of it with strong local long tail keywords to rank high on SERPs.
