Unfortunately, many agents are using sites that list their ads to many websites including Trulia, but what they fail to realize is that your ad is shown but you are not able to brand it with your name and contact information. You have to physically go in and brand the ad yourself, which is a waste of time.

So to answer your question, there is no way to find out, but most ads without branding are on Craigslist.

In our area it is very common for out of area Realtors to take a local listing, then not put it in our local MLS. Hence we have clients either seeing a sign or finding it in an online search. So I usually find the Realtor on Realtor.com, and call the agent directly.

If it is on Trulia, the listing broker info should be there also. I suspect that if it is not on MLS, it won't be on Realtor.com. Realtor.com receives data feeds from MLS; Trulia sources many brokers, publication, syndicators, and a few MLSs in the hunt for data.

You can also simply call a Realtor in your local area who can research it for you. Perhaps someone from the Farmington HIlls area will read your post and respond. If not, call a local Realtor and request they look up the info for you. It won't be hard to find someone who will do that.

See if it is on Realtor.com ... that should give you the agents number.
