I have an ING short sale going on now! My negotiator's, i've had 3 so far, have been okay for the most part. The BIG problem has been the value of the property. It is a 2 bedroom home and we had several offers even an ALL cash offer, which I received after having the property listed for over 9mths. My negotiator has begged, pleaded and yes, they reduced it but only $5,000!! See below a little snippet from an email they sent me after they asked if the cash buyer was an investor:
We are not interested in selling our assets to investors so they can flip it and make a profit.
We will not take the all cash offer at this point. Per my committee we need to counter to 225K no less.
Yikes!!! Still have the listing and still on mls but no one will go over $200k. Thank god the negotiator I use is amazing, she has submitted CMA's, pics of the property's current condition,gotten bids from contractors, everything possible!
