As I show Burbank Houses it seems that every other house has an unpermitted converted garage. Besides the fact that the FHA will not loan on an unpermitted conceverted garage what are the other downfalls of selling a property to a buyer with an unpermitted converted garage?
How hard is is it really for sellers to get a permit so that they can list their converted garage as living space, and get more showings, and potentially more money for their property?
