Once you submit your Salesperson's license application to ADRE, how long does it take to hear back from them and be able to get started?

Asked by John Armbruster, Tucson, AZ Sun Mar 17, 2013

I'm going to take my required Contract Writing courses on Tuesday and submit the documents to ADRE after that. I already have a company picked out, so generally speaking, how long would the turnaround be to be able to get started in my new career?

Usually the get back to you pretty quickly. If you hand deliver it then you would be active that day. But if you mail it in then you will hear back with in a week or so. Make sure that you have everything that you need when you hand it in. The package has to be complete. Follow the link below to make sure you have everything. Good Luck in your new career. Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.

The on line application is pretty quick. Make sure you have the finger print card and the proof of citizenship credentials included. Then I believe it takes three days. You will need to also sign up witha Broker as they will want that info to assign you a number. The best bet is to call aplications to see what their present requirements and timeline are as it is a constantly moving agenda. Good luck and for a new agent, I highly recommend a Broker like Keller Williams as it is a real teaching, mentor, training inviornment.

Hi John,

As long as it is submitted electronically through the ADRE's website, I have always had an immediate response. For new licenses, the process could be slightly more.
