The list I maintain comes from service sources I've either used personally, had a client who has used and been satisfied with, or is recommended by a trusted realtor who has obtained the name in the same way. I wouldn't be comfortable referring any other way, and like you I never give only one name. I make it a point to tell them to do their own research, but here are some names they might want to consider, check their prices, look online for reviews, and not take my word for the resource. I never tell them which one I would choose off the list. Maybe it's our smaller town than Las Vegas, but I still think the principle applies.

We have at least three of each we refer out, but I'd like to have more....with our investors always asking, I'd like to have a list.

Reason I ask; for certain communities or high rise towers like Sky, allure etc...they have a list of approved or basically insured with that tower. It includes maids carpet cleaners, handyman etc.

But I am looking for a broader spectrum, a list that they can choose.

I don't think it's absurd at all to be looking for a referred list.

Idea was sourced do to seeing Sky's list I was cc'd on today from hoa to client. And this book I saw from salestraq that had it all in back.

Please only answer if you'd like to help or recommend a company.

I'll throw a monkey wrench in this one - you should never hire or recommend contractors of any type. While most agents believe it's a valuable service to their clients, I say NO - it creates a liability you don't want. With the advent of services such as Angie's List, you shouldn't need to get involved in this stuff. There is too much litigation coming from making recommendations, better to steer clear.
I'm waiting for the firestorm from this answer....
