Image size is often the reason I find that images do not load properly, efficiently, or load at all. A very helpful tool I use is Image Resizer offered by Microsoft. It allows for the simple "right-click" and offers several pre-set sizes to resize to. This makes for very quick and efficient downloading of pictures to websites and as attachements in emails allowing for quicker download times. You can go to the Windows Update site and search for Powertoys for XP where you will find the link down the right side column. I have included the link to the Powertoys page as reference. As with any download, use your own best judgement. If you are using anything other then XP as your operating system, again, use your own caution.
