Are you asking about the Trulia system or your local MLS system? We are members of 3 MLS systems with adjacent territories and we enter our listings into all 3. They all allow entering draft listings but won't allow an active date that is in the future when it's time to take the listing Active. If Trulia is working the same way, it would appear it's a standard procedure.

Your best bet is to contact Trulia support...I find them to be very responsive.

from my understanding you can input a future date.

if you have a profile and the listing should come up automatically once it is listed in your local MLS. if it does not automatically upload in a day or two after the listing becomes active you can manually input it under your listings.

Good luck with your new listing.

Hi,
Yes, I believe that the listing has to be active (not incoming) in order to be posted on Trulia.
Best wishes!

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday trying to put into the system for tomorrow (Sunday). But it wouldn't let me--just put the present date down--no big deal!

I believe it has to be for today's date or prior, but maybe contact support?
