I am an independent Managing Broker hiring a couple of Brokers. -- Does anyone know of a good Errors & Omissions Insurance provider?

Asked by John Meyers, Park Ridge, IL Mon Dec 9, 2013

Also, how much do they charge? -- I don’t expect bulk rates but it would be nice if my new agents can purchase directly from the insurance provider (preferably billed monthly or quarterly).

Thanks,
John

Hi John,

I ran an office for five years. Get a quote from the following. Remember your premium is going to be based on your volume so do not over estimate next years commissions. For instance if set your realistic goal. If it is 40 Million than it is 40 million. Also remember you can initially set it up at let's say 20 Million and let's say you hit that goal by June you can increase your policy at that time with no problem.

I second Perl Insurance due to good customer service and reasonable rates. However, I have never made a claim. That is when you really know how much you like and appreciate your insurance company.

Thanks Dirk. I just inquired with Perl. Hopefully, you will never need to file a claim.

I use CPIM. I found their rates to be fair and they are a partner with my association MORE. My rep has been very helpful getting things done. Here is her contact info.

Thanks Suzanne! I belong to MORE as well and they just referred me to a State Farm agent who I know would be more expensive.
