This is a very vague question. Are you an investor or an agent?

I'm still breaking in to the market after eight years.

Just kidding. It all depends upon how much you know, how hard you work and most importantly, how much capital you have to invest in yourself.

Are you a new agent wondering how long before you can earn a decent income selling real estate? I would say almost immmediately.....despite current market conditions. There are a lot of agents in the Bay Area still making good money...and a lot of them are newer agents. Long hours, a ton of prospecting, and worrking smart with technology is the key. Good luck!

Break into any real estate market across the country you can ASAP, depends on your short/long term business plan.
