How do I get the contact info to an REO property.?

If my buyers want to contact the seller (for an REO ) to find out why their offer was not accepted, how do I obtain that info?

Check the property, it may have something posted on it with this info., I have seen some asset (REO) company do this. You may also check with the recorders office for the city it is in. You may also try to go back to the agent and ask specifically why the offer was rejected, and they may tell you.

Banks will probably not going to entertain that call...

I know it's frustrating not knowing where our offers stand, but it's I figured that if I don't hear anything in 3-5 days, my offer is rejected and move on to the next. As agents, we should educate our buyers that it may take 20 offers to get one accepted so buckle in and enjoy the ride for a while. Comfort your buyers by telling them they are not alone in this journey; other buyers are experiencing the same way.

I don't think the REO company will take the would have to know the asset manager for that particular property. If they received a counter you might have some type of contact information on the counter. You could look to see which bank owned the property but again to find the actual asset manager of who was responsible for that particular property could be a problem. They could also contact the broker of the agent who represented the seller and explain their concern.
