Hello Hyatt, I agree with Amy - Remax Properties is the best option for you to start. I interview with other companies 3 or 4 times a year to make sure I'm in the right place (never hurts to check, the more information the better). RMP is the only Billion Dollar company in town, the only one with six offices, the most friendly agents I've worked with and the best office staff you could ask for. It's a real pleasure working here and I can't say enough about the training and classes including RMP-exclusive GRI classes. Let me know if you need more details and I'll try to help, or call our broker manager Darrell Wass at 719-598-4700 - he can discuss specific costs with you. Best wishes in whatever you decide!

I too endorse Kaplan. Very effective and the highest pass rate.
Keller Williams has an exceptional training program also.

Good luck!

Kaplan is a great place to start and they have several types of learning paces either in classroom or home-study. I started with Century 21 Metro Alliance and have not worked for any other company in the last 4 years. We are not a big office but, we are a very supportive office. Century 21 has incredible resources. Best wishes to you!

Hyatt, you can take your Colorado licensing courses **online** at http://www.vaned.com while you're still in NY and get a head start before you get here!

Thanks for the question; I've attached a link to Kaplan Real Estate School here in Colorado Springs which has a great record of producing good agents here. Our company provides a voucher for new agents beginning a training program as well. I would encourage you to interview with a variety of companies as there are many outstanding Real Estate companies located here.
If there are any questions I can answer for you, please do not hesistate to contact me and best of luck!!
