Trulia has shut down blogging, From their recent message, blogging will be down until some time in January. I was referred over to Active Rain by quite a few agents who used to be active here. You can use the link below to join for free to keep your blogging going. i found it a benefit to blog on both platforms.

Scott makes me wonder why Trulia systems have been "buggy" (on and off - failing to upload in the past two weeks) Thank you for your comment on their post about why they are shutting down blogging

they also need to work on their spam problems - what is going on today (and last night with "escort services" and sports ;ive streaming) is ridiculous and unacceptable, imo.

I agree. I'm hoping that all the spam is the reason for taking the blog down and look forward to a new and improved spam free blog!

Trulia has taken the Blogs down--supposedly to improve the function and claim it will be up again in January.

Sounds like Trulia is working on fixing their blogging issues. Unfortunately we have to wait until January to blog now.

Well, well, well, yet another big "oops"/glitch on Trulia

What is going on here?

I wish they'd fix the main page of the Q&A section glitch, which has been ongoing for a couple of months now.........to those who haven't noticed, only the first posted response will show up when new responses are added....................so Tina Lam's answer, the 1st one here, will continue to show up over and over on the main page when any one replies here

Message received from Trulia

"Hello,

As someone who's recently blogged on Trulia, we wanted you to be first to know that new blog creation is temporarily unavailable. Our engineers are working hard to make some key improvements, with an initial focus on how to better facilitate real estate conversations and protect our community. This temporary shut down is not a decision we made lightly—we've never done it before, and hope to never do it again. But we firmly believe this is the best approach at this time, and the community will be better for it.

The good news is that this temporary shutdown will not affect any blog posts you've already written, so home buyers, sellers, and other real estate professionals can still see your great content. Plus, you can continue to connect with buyers and sellers by answering their questions or reviewing neighborhoods you know best.

We will have the blogs back up and running in January. For more information, you can check out our blog post. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at community@trulia.com."

Ian, appears we all in the same boat now.
