Yes, but like so much in life, there are qualifiers to this success.
No all property will benefit from Craig's List advertising.
The buyers who frequent Craig's List are OVERWHELMINGLY not the same buyers showing up at open houses. HINT: Be prepared to respond to "Will seller offer a lease/option?" Know how to say, YES!"
Do not forget 'Marketing 101 Best Practices'.
PROTECT your seller!
Thursday or Friday morning are the magic times/days.

Best of success to you,

Craigslist has been a good source to advertise an open house, In my area. It still should not be the only source used. Even print ads are still a valid marketing tool.

Yes, Craigslist has proven successful on several of our listings.

I use Craiglist often for leases and owner financing.
Do you want to market your listing for sale?

p.s. I agree with Annette:)

I've used it but always in conjunction with other advertising avenues but since I didn't have as much success with it as I have with others, I only use it occasionally.

Hello Eleanor,

I believe CL is a great place for rental listings. I usually get about 2 or 3 serious inquires.

I've done if for years. I certainly wouldn't rely on that one sign however, and encourage you to syndicate it and get your property on as many websites as possible.
