Yes- there are a number of people/ businesses that state that they buy homes for cash, only to have the home owner rent out the home they jusy sold, for a crazy amount of intrest, stating that the home when paid off by the renters(first homeowners) that the company that bought the home would return the deed to the renters(first home owners). Be carefull of these. I am a REAL ESTATE WHOLESALER....I can get homeowners out of their distressed homes, and often can put ten thousand dollars in the home owners pocket at closing. I do this by selling the property to an investor for under the market value. It is a win- win spot. The home owners are out of their home, and were able to pay the bank what they own, plus have some cash in pocket, and the investor gets a deal as well. Contact me for more info. Minnesota

There were a few of those companies here that got caught by the attorney generals office for a scam in which troubled properties were put in a "companies" name then lease it back to the original owner for a period to "rebuild their credit". The homes were either sold out from under the owner or terms were so unaffordable that they lost it all.

My mom always told me, "If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is"

Maybe there is some altruistic company out there that does this with the goodness of their hearts but I haven't seen one yet. If your out there, please contact me, I'd love to meet you.
