I get calls from all over the world and they state that they are investors, or large funds, but have never materialized into anything worthwhile, so I dont know if I would classify them as a scam so much as just a waste of time.

I had an investor client call me recently bc they had been approached by an Investment Group. After a little research we found it to be a REAL scam - Seems to me the old adage "If it sounds too good..." should be a mantra for investors of any kind.
