Does anyone have suggestions regarding maximum online exposure for international listings for U.S.buyers? I have a listing in Provence, France

Asked by Felecia Wesley, Beverly Hills, CA Wed Jun 9, 2010

Trulia does not seem to have the option to list outside the U.S. The property is 4700 sq ft on 4 acres. According to the owner, 85% of the structure was completed in 2007 and 15% is centuries old. There are 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths with spectacular views of the surrounding Luberon mountains, olive groves and cherry trees are also on the lot. The home is located one hour from the Marseille airport and 45 minutes from the high speed rail (TGV) station of Avignon. the asking price is $4,200,000. Any recommendations for marketing this home in the U.S. will be greatly appreciated.

I've had luck with print/online ads in travel and business publications, such as Travel & Leisure, Conde Nast, The Economist, Forbes, Fortune, Robb Report. If it's a luxury property, advertise where the market reads, not necessarily just RE sites.

Hello Felicia,

I recommend for advertising your international listings.

By giving details about the property, you are in effect marketing the listing. This is not the place to do it. Contact the site administrator who would be the right person to address the issue.

Have you checked to see if your brokerage has any international affiliates? Nourmand & Associates in Beverly Hills are part of a huge international real estate group called Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.

If your brokerage doesn't offer anything like this, see if you can either co-list with an agent at a brokerage that has an international database or alternatively see if you can pay to list on their websites yourself.

Sorry, I didn't see how old the question was. I hope my answer can be of some help though.
