Car payments affect your Debt-to-Income Ratio-- the amount the bank will allow you to borrow.

So, you can buy a better house. Sometimes TWICE as much!

Then, as a "homeowner" you will actually qualify for more and better rates on your car purchase. Because banks and car dealers look at home owners as more stable and qualified borrowers.

SECOND: There are down payment programs with up to $8000 in free money in most states for first time homebuyers. And there are tax credits of up to $2000 PER YEAR through the MCC Tax Credit.

THIRD: Hire a Buyer Agent REALTOR. They work for FREE for homebuyers, and they get paid because their fee is already in the price of the house. If you DONT hire a Buyer Agent REALTOR, the Seller's Agent makes a double commission! So, hire YOUR own Buyer Agent Realtor, and get some good advice.

Give me a "BEST ANSWER" or "THUMBS UP if this answered your question. Thanks!
