Always brand your own team. We brand come2temecula which we eventually might sell down the road. We could not sell the brokerage which we do not own.

Hmmmm,
Are not real estate professionals REQUIRED to disclose the brokerage with whom they are associated in their advertising includikng the signage?
-
The real question is, "How much space do you give the broker?"
The answer is hidden in this question, "Does the brand bring VALUE!"
-
If I worked with 'Tumbledown real estate LLC' I just might not give that name a lot of space.
There is an entire Madison Ave industry that makes quite clear the value of a recognized brand. Some can choose to defy the obvious. They do so to their own disadvantage.
-
Let's face it, the most important element on any sign is YOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER.
Everything else pales in relevance.
The brand Remax does pull it's weight in the local market and global recognition.

Best of success to you,

Banded with my name and info...why put in all your precious time and resources all the while promoting your agency brand vs. YOU. I realize some of the big brands give you "free" signs--but are they really free? There is a big cost associated with the fact that you are missing a great opportunity to get YOUR name out there vs. your agency's.

We offer company signs to our agents, but encourage them to create their own if they want to. We only require that we approve the art work for legal compliance. I started in RE in a C21 office that did not allow agents to put anything but the brokerage phone number on signs as a way to drive calls to the floor agent. This chapped my hide and seemed disrespectful to agents who worked hard to get listings, so I'm the total opposite.

We are required to use company branded signs but they are customized with each agent's name or team name, the agent's telephone number and website name.

I use the company sign.

In my experience, when you're doing enough transactions to make the top ten in your market on your own, then consider branding away. Otherwise, ride your company's coattails.

To clarify ... Not going rogue... Currently use a name rider with phone...wondering if a custom sign where we would add our names and phone number to company sign has been a benefit to your business.

Judi raises a good point. There must be a reason why these larger companies provide "Free" signage.....is it really free?

Is always a good idea to use the company signs and add a rider with your personal information.

Mine have my company name and my name and cell phone # on the rider. That is most common here.
