Absolutely! A realtor can lose his or her license for violating fair housing law.

Short answer yes. One must be versed in Federal Fair Housing laws before attempting to file a law suite. Making sure that the legal counsel is knowledgeable and most important, experienced in Federal Fair Housing lawsuits. Remember attorneys have different specialties. An attorney could be charging for the research in matters in which he/she or the firm is not familiar with. Expenses that are billed as the research is on going.
