I would check with the broker before I would do that. Sometimes, owners can be particular on how their home is being marketed. All in all, if the broker gives you the green light, SPLENDID!

Hi Amy,
If you have permission of the listing agent, I see why not?

That's more exposure for their listing.

Make sure you ask the listing agent before doing so. If he/she is on board with you doing so, you are good to go.

Clearly (I trust it is clear) you have permission of the listing agent to host the open house and fully understand the compensation to which you may, or may not, be entitled. (if you don't have the conversation, you could be in for a SURPRISE! This is a business, not a hobby)) ---------Your question most likely is better stated, "Can I schedule an OPEN HOUSE on Trulia for a listing that is not mine." NO you can not. Certainly this would violate your local MLS regulations.. The listing agent should claim the listing and post the open house announcement. Of course, if the listing agent gave you their Trulia log-on and password.............?...... However, what you do on your Trulia blog, Facebook and Twotter is completely up to you. Just make certain the listing brokerage is acknowledged and the agent offered permission. ....Best of success.
