Are any of the other Real Estate Professionals starting to deal with lenders requiring home inspections for the underwriters and requiring repairs?

Theses are not only repairs, but maintenance items as well, noted by home inspections but also appraisers.

Yes, usually these are items noted on the appraisal. In one instance small amounts of fogging were found on windows by the appraiser (smaller than a dime) and the seller had to repair all of the windows. I explain to sellers that although a buyer may be willing to overlook an item, the lender may not and to be prepared for required repairs.

Definitely. I find it happens most often with a Wells Fargo loan.
