Any recommendations for CRM platforms?

Asked by Shelly Hu, Bellevue, WA Tue Jan 29, 2013

I have contacts everywhere, so I'm looking for a web-based platform where I can keep track of everything from email campaigns, client records, and track current transactions. Thoughts on functionality and ease of use would be much appreciated.

Rule #1. DO NOT USE BROKERAGE PROVIDED CRM.
Should you choose to leave, you will be attached by a tapered shank with a helical thread.
-
Rule #2. Be aware, the greatest cost of a CRM is validatation and implementation. You did intend to test the system within the 30 trial period...right? Seriously, there are some CRM's that are simply too dangerous to use.
-
Rule #3. KNow what your business requires. Bells and whistles and other shiny objects are time-holes that are the oppositie of productivity tools.
-
IMPORANT;
Most CRM's will not support your busienss requirements of the coming years. There is undwerway a tectonic shift in the dimension of your business. The functions of the overwhelming providers of CRMs will NOT align well with your business requirements. You will find yourself retrofitting a legacy system to you business requirements that WILL change in the coming two years. If you perceive no change in your needs. then those 1998 CRMS will work just find.

Of those,
RealtyJuggler and WiseAgent (the one I use) should be amoung your first looks. I would recommend WiseAgent. (I receive no compensation from WiseAgent. But, if you mention my name I might get a bigger Christmas Card.)
-
The learning curve is expectionally short. The quality of writing is EXCEPTONAL if you choose to leverage their fully editable and bilingual newsletter......and leverage as blog material source.
-
If you only want to switch CRM one time in the coming ten years, and wish to actually find yourself squarely postioned the middle of the highway you must take, you should serioulsy consider paying more for SugarCRM or Hubspot.

Take a look at Real Pro's Platinum product. I recently upgraded to it and love the functionality and ease. Plus you can get the team version and each of them will have their own dashboard that you can keep track of as well.

give RealtyJuggler a try. The price is right at $99 / year and the product can load leads from most any where.

Hi Shelly,

I see that you want a full, cloud based CRM plus transaction management system, and marketing system. Keller Williams Realty has created just such a system, that can be accessed from your "Dashboard". It incorporates DotLoop, as mentioned below, as one component of the complete Lead to Close paperless system.

Feel free to contact me for details. It is called eEdge and is amazing. It is the only such complete system in the real estate industry.

Warm Regards,
Karen

We currently use Top Producer 8i. It's easy to use, helps to keep track of multiple levels of client and transaction information, and you can even perform email and mail campaigns directly from it. The catch is it is not the cheapest program available, but is very robust. Good Luck!

Take a look at dotloop.com.Our company (Exit Realty) is a pioneer at using dotloop as we are going paperless as a corporation. They have an incredible product. If you were to join Exit you would get it free. If you would like an intro to a great broker in your area I would be happy to make the introduction for you. Exit also has many other tools to help insure success for the competent agent.
Take a look at the dotloop.com website and see if you will find this helpful for the transaction part of your question. Second Exit has spent several years developing another program exclusively ofr our agents for the client records, email campaighns and so on. It is called Torque. It is only available to Exit agents free. Of course you can always try Top Producer, it is expensive, cumbersome, and not very creative. I used it for several years before Torque.
Good luck!
