Look into what the different offices have to offer. Some will charge desk fees, phone etc. and have a higher commission split and others will not charge fees but have a lower commission split. See what best works for you.
Find an office that provides additional training. There is still quite a bit to learn and knowledge is power.
Be prepaid for rejection. It's a tough business and you have to have thick skin. You will not please everyone and many will challange you. Don't take anything personally it's business to most.
Prepare for the low periods. Once you have gone through your friends and family it gets a little tougher to get business.
Work all the groups, organizations, neighbors and contacts you have. They may not need an agent now, but it will help build business for the future.
