Hi Pamela, I realise this thread is dormant for you by now, but for others... I used a website called Always Check Your Builder and got the builders background disputes and credit and business history. I hadn't signed and actually changed builders because of their reports.

Hi Sue, There are currently 7 rental properties on the market in Acton in that price range, however some do have pet restrictions - not all. One just came on the market today. The rental market is pretty competitive in this area - I would be happy to talk you through the process and the options. I have lived in Acton myself for over 10 years and I'm happy to answer any questions about the area. Feel free to contact me when you're ready - or my cell: 978-621-6421. ... more

If the house is in Westford and they pay Westford taxes I would assume they would go to Westford.
I would call the Acton School and ask them their thoughts.
Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

Hello Confused Home Buyer, The activity in the spring market in this area can be a bit crazy. I assume you are working with a lender on your purchase. The home will have an appraisal as part of the lending due diligence. The appraisal is another step in the process to verify value compared to other area recent home sales.

Buyers remorse is not at all uncommon. Rest assured that when you move onto moving day you will remember how much you loved the home and why you moved forward with your offer. There is value to the life that you will be enjoying in your new home.

For future reference, there is great value in working with a buyer broker who can help you to establish and understand value. Keep it in mind for your next transaction.

A title is a legal document that establishes proof of ownership of a property. Issues can arise if there are outstanding problems regarding the property. Such issues can be fraud, forgery, contested ownership, missing wills, and if documents weren’t processed properly. Title issues could take weeks or years to work on depending on the nature of the dispute.

Based on what you have stated, I would reconsider this property or would proceed with caution.
