The only way for properties to show up on Trulia is for them to be on the MLS. Agents have access to the MLS, so they are the only ones that can list on Trulia for free.

The NAR states that FSBO homes typically sell for an average of $184,000 compared to agent assisted homes at $230,000. That's a big difference! So selling with an agent will usually get you more money in the end, and it will sell faster with less hassle on you.

We created our service for home sellers looking for the best deal possible. Agents will compete against each other to earn your listing, so you're more likely to receive a great commission rate. You'll also be able to compare agents so you can select the best agent possible! There's no risk to try us out, and it's completely free for you!

You asked about this house in a different thread and I see that you haven't dropped your price since then. Take another look at current comps and then go from there...

I'm not your agent, nor am I attempting to become your agent, or otherwise undermine what your agent is doing. But I can give you an opinion in answer to your question: Your home is simply not going to sell at this price. There's half a dozen houses near you which are priced lower and some of those might even be better houses, or at least on a better street.

As far as how it should be priced, that's a question that you and your agent need to discuss. While I know that we're responding to your request here, I take the MLS rules very seriously and am wary of crossing that line between helpful advice and solicitation of a listing. Definately talk to your agent about a price drop if you really want to sell.
