Katherine,

What Steve says is correct. Listings like these are a come-on to get you to subscribe to their service. You are not going to get a house in Piedmont for much under $750K (and that would be small) let alone for $150K.

There are many sites where you can look for property. One of the benefits of using our site - http://www.fixedrateproperties.com - is that you can search through up to 45 cities in as many Bay Area counties as want at one time, and you get all the listings on the respective MLS. There is neither a fee nor obligation to use us but we have designed it to be very user friendly.

Dear Katherine,

For fast answers to your questions, you can access the MLS through www.sfarmls.com or through my website. You will be able to check out active listings only. If you want to check sale prices, I offer this through my newsletter which comes out every Wednesday. I am happy to email you a sample.

Cheers,
Sally

Dear Slavenka,

Go to www.sfarmls.com and put 500 Masonic into the parameters and the information will come up. It should show open houses. If it does not, then you can contact your agent or any others and ask.

For future reference, you can also subscribe to my weekly newsletter which lists via links Open Houses, weekly sales figures, information on districts, mortgage rates and more. Just email me at srosenman@hill-co.com and I will add your name.

Good luck,
Sally
