We received a forbearance from Wells Fargo for 3 months when my husband was laid off. (1st time in 7 years) he went back to work & his boss says he will not be laid off again. While on the forebearance thought he was going to take a job in another state so we listed the house and sold in one day. We made $ & our attorney told us not to make the last forbearance mtg payment since we were paying it off and he ordered a payoff letter. We paid the loan in full. Now we are looking for a new home & Wells Fargo says we can't get a loan for a year because of the forebearance. We paid on time and it was only for 3 months. Is there anything we can do to get a loan? We didn't expect our house to sell so quickly and we are renting ... more

Yes it is completely bogus that the credit reporting companies will not allow us to give the credit report to client.

I would say:

" I do not recall applying for credit, but did not hot obtain any new credit."

That should do it.

Condos can certainly be purchased using lender financing. Some senior communities are CASH only.

But other than senior communities, I have not come across condo developments where financing is not allowed.

Contact the listing agent. They should have the HOA's contact information.

If they don't you may want to contact your realtor. I did a little checking and this 7 unit building has not had any MLS reported activity since 2001 when it was withdrawn so there is little information of any recent realtors who might have that information readily available for you.

You can also try just going down and meeting some of the owners as I am sure they will know who to contact to get information regarding the HOA.
