Property taxes in San Luis Obispo County run approximately 1% of the purchase price plus any bonds or add-ons, such as water bonds etc. A good estimate would be about $6200 /year. The State of CA has established a annual rate increase, however, during times such as those in the recent free-fall market place, annual property taxes may be adjusted back to reflect the lesser property value.
