Hi Autumn,

We would need a little more data to best answer your question.

Are you selling your home and that is the source of the home inspection?

If you are talking about the inspection report from 2003, there is really nothing you can do unless there was damage then...which would be almost impossible to prove without documentation from the 2003 inspection.

An inspectors report is a "right here, right now" account of the property. Unless the trees looked like they would cause damage in the near future, the inspector would not call them out. And if they did, the report would note to "contact a professional in this field for further advice".

We hope this helps,

Hi There,

If you don't get any answers about this, the best thing to do is spend some time in the area. People ask about crime all the time, but the same advice goes for anything that affects quality of life in a neighborhood. Spend time there. In your case, park in the street for awhile during the times you're concerned about.

Hi Hk,

These so called "properties for sale" by Realty Trac are very misleading. I am constantly answering questions pertaining to these properties. I'd be happy to forward you an actual list of homes for sale in the area if you're interested. Just email me a brief description and price.

Happy House Hunting!
