Barbara Robb…, Real Estate Pro in Long Beach, CA

Barbara Robbins-Olexa answered:
I just got an offer on my listing at 545 Chestnut #314 listed at $98,300. There are others in that building which are very nice. Currently there are no two bedrooms available as one recently sold for $150K. I know most of the buildings in the downtown area, perhaps I can suggest one to you once you provide more details as to what you are looking for and what you didn't like about the ones your agent showed you. As other agents have said there are lots of properties in the downtown area in most of the buildings so you should be able to find something.

Michael Magaw answered:
Go to the HUD website http://www.hud.gov/foreclosure/index.cfm to get information on how to negotiate this process. The Hope Now program is non-profit and offers free counseling and they may even help you negotiate with your lender. This would be the best place for you to call. They will be able to advise you on what to say. Also ask them about the Hope for Homeowners program. ... more
