We don't want to present an Addendum - and there is already one "Seller's Response" fully executed. We want to know if we can submit a second "sellers response"…

I've never heard of any "buyout" option that a landlord has to offer. (unless the owner specified something like that in your lease agreement to begin with?) Typically the owner will want to sell the property for "fair market value". If you're interested in it, you can let them know, and maybe you can get a slightly better deal if the real estate agent can act as a Transaction Broker (and they wouldn't have to pay a buyer's agent a commission). But that has it's own risks (not having your own buyer's agent).

You may want to re-read your lease agreement and see if there are any early termination clauses. Seems like they cannot just kick you out before the lease is up. But maybe there is something in the lease that they can if they give you XX days notice or something to that effect? Good luck to you!

Brian - One more thing, depending on your price range, the bank recently foreclosed on the 4 gray shell penthouse units at Soho Lofts. These 5000+ sq foot spaces were previously listed at $1.1-$1.3 million and could probably be purchased for $600-$700K.

Let me know if that would work for you.
