I have found that the tax records are often inaccurate. Recently I had a listing in Cedar Park on a cul de sac lot. To a laymen it appeared to be about a 1/3 of an acre the county insisted that all lots in that neighborhood were .10 to .20. However if you looked at the plat, there were about six lots all cul de sacs, that were clearly double the size of a typical lot.... more
