Angie,

I would suggest that you try to find out the cause of this problem. Talk to a general contractor(s) or foundation guy (if you suspect a foundation problem) about this and obtain bids from them. Depending upon what cause it you can try letting the seller know or talk to your attorney. Have you talk to your realtor about this? Did you have your house inspected before purchasing? If so, you can always ask the inspector to come and re-evaluate the situation as well.

Good luck!

In today's market there is no longer a "down time" for putting your house on the market. With today's active relocation market there are always buyers on the move, just like yourself. Of course there are times when there are fewer buyers in the market - but look for them to be serious buyers. I would recommend preparing your home for listing right away. A REALTOR will assist you in staging and making repairs so that your home shows "buyer ready".
I hope I have an opportunity to visit with you and further discuss what I can do for you to help you sell your home.
