The 203K lending guidelines are pretty much the same as they are for other FHA-insured loan programs. The only big difference is 203K allows for the cost of the renovation work to be included in the approved loan amount. Basically, you can take advantage of the 203K loan to purchase a home in Texas and get it renovated without the need for additional financing, with just a single loan.

Trulia does not put properties on their site. The listing has to be put there by someone else, and if it's not a real estate professional, then it must be something else. I hate to ask a sensitive question on a public site, but have you fallen behind in your payments? If so, it may be being fed by a preforeclosure website. You may want to check into that. ... more

It really depends on a lot of things, but in most cases you will want to buy a property with a clean title and that means that back taxes and HOA fees and any other liens like mortgage, IRS, etc are cleared when you close. ... more
