I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Not all realtors and home inspectors are created equal, which is a shame. It is always good to ask friends and neighbors for recommendations on both. As far as the inspection goes, I can't really comment since I don't know the situation and sizes of accessible areas- which can limit access. But not 'wanting' to go under a house is unacceptable.

The inspection report is supposed to show you exactly what the problems/deficiencies are - not confuse you. You should call the inspector and get clarification on anything you don't completely understand. You are the client and deserve good service.
