The rental business is still HUGH in Collin County. When considering turning your home into a rental vs. selling there are many items to consider, and situations will be different for person to person. As will the landlord experience will be different from renter to renter. Your current home equity, capital gains tax, management company or not, knowing what the Texas Property Code requires of landlords, qualifying tenants, the list goes on.
