As stated by Andrew and Scott below, the seller can get rental policy for the 1 week leaseback that they are doing and the buyer, who is now the new owner, will get a homeowners policy.

It seems that it is only yours or another buyers preference. Unless you are trying to utilize over-the-air television reception, which can be affected by power lines near your property. Other than that you may be happy and it not affect you as long as when you decide to sell it does not turn sellers away. You always need to remember what was going through your mind when you decided to purchase the property and that is what your potential buyers will be thinking when you try to sell.

I seems to be a personal thing and some have issue with it and some do not.

I sold my home in Wellington Estates in December 2009 after living there for 6 years and within 3 months of moving my wife was diagnosed with Bone Cancer. The type of cancer she has is caused by exposure to benzyne which is a waste product of oil and gas drilling. If you do some additional research, you will find that there have been other cases of other blood cancers in adults and children within a 1 mile radius of Wellington Estates in Flower Mound Zip 75022. At the time we sold our home, I was totally unaware of the dangers caused by the drilling in the area but if I knew then what I know now, I would have sold my home for $1 just to get out of the area. ... more

There is Always room for bargaining even in a sellers market. This continues to be a buyers market so yes I would say it is a good time to buy in Flower Mound area. The nice thing is there are older fixer uppers all the way up to luxury so you can choose what to pursue. First your buyers agent should prepare comparables so you know where to start your offer. Hint: the listing price isn't a starting point. The list is long but : price, survey, title, home warranty, closing costs, etc. are all things you can negotiate. Best of luck ... more

The master up is not the ideal but in an area such as "great schools" the impact is less. You should be able to negotiate a less per square foot price than a master down home. Have your agent pull both master up and down in the subdivision to compare the value and days to sell. Call with questions :))
