When there are no furnishings the eye has no choice but to look at the walls, floors, windows where you will view all of the faults.... scratches on the floors, cracks in the walls, bubbles on the window sills.... you'll eye will also be drawn to cobwebs and any dirt, etc.... that you might not have noticed in a furnished home.

So it's possible that in a vacant home you might want to paint, and do a maximum cleaning. Tile needs to be clean... grout cleaned...

Echoes are not a big problem.
