I would recommend contacting a couple seasoned agents that you know, or perhaps agents that have worked with a friend or family member. Most seasoned agents, like myself, will admit that their success in this business has resulted from referrals and repeat customers, which is the greatest compliment an agent can receive. One's client base does not grow in numbers without hard work on the agent's part, as well as attention to detail in all facets of the transition, from contract negotiations to closing.
