I think the answer to your question is best found after talking with your family about your options, perhaps involving your financial planner if applicable, and looking inside as to what you really want. Asking a bunch of RANDOM folks on an internet forum this kind of question isn't going to get you anything worthwhile. Money is a strong motivator for both the buyer and seller. Everyone is wanting to get the best possible deal for themselves. Remember these old sayings, "if it looks too good to be true it usually is", and "You get what you pay for"? Think about this when you are offered a discounted commission rate. When interviewing for a potential broker, keep the one who has a plan to make you and your property a priority,one you are comfortable talking with that listens to your questions and needs, and the one that you feel that you can trust. Trust your instincts!
