Sounds exciting, well first you need a piece of land, where you are allowed to build a home of 2500 sq.ft., then the cost for that building will require an architect and a plan..... the cost then for the actual
construction, and that assumes you will not make any changes during the process will entire depend
on the type of construction (brick, stone, siding ?????), basement or no basement, 2 or 3 story of one
level ranch style home, and then the inside, hardwood flooring, high ceilings, big windows, type of heating and cooling, i.e. zoned for different floors I think you are catching on.

You need to sit down with a builder and get some general input..... and then in Chicago?
