Since the previous answers are more than a year old, I'd like to update them. The building was very fortunate more than a year ago in hiring an outstanding maintenance couple. They are a live-in couple and everyone agrees that the building is now spotless. Thanks to this hard-working couple, the hallways are regularly vacuumed, the back hallways scrubbed, the hospitality room is fresh and clean every day and the landscaping is well-watered, lush and green. The courtyard is a delight to sit in or sunbathe. All of the buildings systems - electrical, plumbing, elevators - get regular attention. And all calls for assistance by the owners are answered within an hour.
As to the values, we are in the heart of the Gold Coast. Considering that we are located just eight blocks from Bloomingdale's and Water Tower, a 10-minute walk to Lincoln Park, just across Lake Shore Drive from Oak Street Beach and jogging and bicycling paths, our values are very reasonable. And for a one- bedroom, one-bath unit, the monthly assessments are a low $450 a month. Thank you for your question.
