We have a few subdivisions where power lines run through the area. Many Realtors note that a home backs up to the power lines. Many Buyers feel that the power lines emit unseen electricity into the air causing cancer. It can decrease the home sale price in our area up to $20,000 - $50,000.
I would recommend researching if there are any negative impacts on the environment or people. If the claim is unsubstantiated, print the info and leave it by your marketing material for Buyers to read and become educated.

We have had a very unusual market in Highland Park this year. It started off going strong, then slowed down, picked up again May - July but, due to the school year starting soon, the activity has dropped.
Our market is cyclical and tends to follow major Holidays and events.
According to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), generally 16 - 18 appointments on the home prior to an offer being submitted.
Wish I had better news but, be patient.

Charlie - The homes on Trulia are actually for SALE. Unlike Zillow where they post estimated values based on the information in public records and then people can go in and update the information which will change the value. But the homes are not necessarily for sale on that site.
