This is really questions for mortgage broker. They can better assist you on what you can afford on a mortgage long with getting one.... best I can tell you is to pay down your debits as much as you can before you go in as they look at your outstanding debits (debit/income rations) and it takes down the amount of what you can buy. The less your debit the better chance of more money from the bank, along with a better risk. ... more

You need to hire an Real estate agent so they can list the home on the MLS. Trulia pulls from the MLS system only and its the only way to get on Trulia, Realtor.com, and a few other sites come up on the internet. With Zillow the agent is the only way they can be added on there... beside a Real estate agent can help you get your home sold faster and removes the head ache for you with the amounts of work and time it takes to show and work with buyers. If its the commission rate thats holding you back from hiring someone, then remember how much work it was to buy the home your in now, and what you went thought with the negotiations to get to the price you paid... its worth it. You can also do some negotiate with the commission amounts... just make sure your reasonable so agents want to sell your home and go through all the work it takes us to get your home sold. ... more
