I'm not sure of the answer, I would guess they are real people. I think the bottom line is that number doesn't mean much. It is all relative to what factors created the views. Does it come up near the top of many searches, has it been on the market for awhile, has the same person clicked on it a few times, is it in a popular search range, is it in a highly populated area.... and so on. What does it matter if a home has 1 hit or 10,000, if it is a good home it is a good home. The homes are searched by sellers, buyers, and people looking just for fun. At the end of the day I don't believe number of hits makes you look good or bad, it is more of a tool for the sellers to track activity.
