Jersy girl I saw a Historic home that had a trashout done. The cleanout crew threw out 120 year old 8 inch moulding, wood doors, the tiles from a Hamilton Tile fireplace.
The next door neighbor told me they broke the stuff up as the threw it into the dumpster. The materials will cost thousands of dollars to replace with the same product.
Unfortunately the lender tells the crew to throw out whats not attached so out it goes. If they decide on their own to save something they may get in trouble so everything hits the trash.

If you wanted to keep the items in the house it should have been in writing in contract.The bank most likely had someone clean out the property before closing.As is - means if anything was found in building inspection - it would not be repaired. ... more
