In my opinion, "Neat and tidy" is subjective. It means different things to different people. Big furniture in a small house can seem un-neat and untidy to someone, as can medical equipment, etc. In other words, there are a lot of things/reasons that can make a home seem untidy, without it actually being untidy. Therefore, it's an interpretation. And because it is subjective, you may want to check with your county's Housing Court Specialist to learn whether or not such comments are legal. I suggest you can use a REALTOR to find the renter. The fee is not high, I can make a referral to you if you would like, you can email me if that is what you would like to do. I do suggest a credit check and background check as well, they are inexpensive to do. A realtor can get the rental out there to the public and among other REALTORS. Good luck ... more
