The lease should define which party is responsible for these type of situations. If your lease does not spell that out, then it is NOT fair to assume that exterior maintenance would be your responsibility.
I notice that you list yourself as a "Home Buyer."
There may have never been a better time to buy a home when you consider the availability of homes in many price ranges, especially those normally considered 1st time homes, low interest rates and this tremendous 1st time home buyers Tax credit. There really are some great values out there. Parma & Parma Hts. have some tremendous opportunities available now.
