Hi if you ever get a straight answer I would love to know. We have affenpinscher, silky/chi and a beagle and 4 parrots. Many say 1 or 2 pets, a few 2 pets and a couple 2 four leggeds. I just want to know who would consider 3 elderly dogs and 4 middle aged to elderly parrots. Some places are very uptight, others ? It would really help to know who at least might accept multi pet household. ... more

Don't make the mistake I did by moving out before your house is sold!
It's two years and still no sale. Here's a list of the mess when you move out and your
house is "VACANT" in Florida.
1. Only found two insurance companies to insure "VACANT" property. Both charged $1,800 year
based on their property value opinion. You're at their mercy...
2. Pay two property house taxes.
3. Pay two HOA dues.
4 Pay two electric, water, bills.
5. Finally decided to rent to snowbirds and now need to change to "landlord/rental" insurance.
Noone tells you the above when you buy a house before selling the existing one. Or, they haven't
done their homework to advise you this is what will happen if you don't sell first!

Your options: Sell or Rent before moving out!!!!
Good Luck. Barbara selling MLS# 379813. Zip code 34476 in Ocala.

Hi Limitzgirl;
I'm not aware of any sinkholes in OTOW. The HOA fees are a little higher in this area, but most people understand they're getting a lot of amenities for the money. OTOW is a large area with hundreds of homes with a high number of turn over due to retirees limited life expectancy. Currently, there are more properties for sale in OTOW because sales are slow. Buyers can't sell their homes in order to move into the retirement communities and people are having to put off retirement due to poor economic conditions. I hope this helps. Please email or call me with any other real estate needs you may have.
